According to Mehr News Agency, the Trade Development Organization of Iran sent a letter to the Tehran Chamber of Commerce and announced the ban on the entry of 9 agricultural products into Iraq and requested to inform economic activists about this.
According to this letter, the import of tomatoes, potatoes, cucumbers, onions, pumpkins, eggplants, watermelons, cantaloupe and okra to Iraq is prohibited until further notice. This decision is approved by the Iraqi Council of Ministers of Economy, which was taken at the suggestion of the Ministry of Agriculture and due to the abundance of domestic production.
